Restricted View (2010-2013)

'Restricted View' explores seeing as a choice - we choose (how) to look at objects, people, ideas and performances. Flipping, rotating, sliding and resizing are four choices that are familiar in actions we do and see everyday. The piece looks at these transformations, in the relationship between a visible surface, an intangible axis and the accessibility of performance. This, and the possibility of at least one other perspective in the same moment, is both the intention and suggestion in the piece.
